Before the Cherry Tree Trust, it was hard to buy all the supplies I needed to make this vision a reality. Their loan let me invest in equipment for groups of up to 14 people. But it wasn’t just the funding. The mentorship meant everything, strategic advice, help setting up my website and Google Workspace, and the encouragement that kept me going. Patrick, my mentor, even attended one of my sessions with his group, which meant the world.
Since then, I’ve been hosting weekly sessions at Santosha Barbados, working with private villas, and I’m now preparing to start at Wyndham Grand Barbados. The Trust believed in me from the beginning, and that belief gave me the confidence to grow."
SoundBath Haven Barbados is built around the belief that healing comes from within, supported by the elements of nature, breathwork, guided meditation, and sound. Our signature floating sound baths invite clients to relax weightlessly in pools across the island, supported by sound frequencies that promote deep healing, stress release, and cellular rejuvenation.
When I first heard about The Cherry Tree Trust through a friend, I was hopeful. I had a clear vision but limited resources to bring the floating sound bath concept to life. With the Trust’s help, I was able to purchase the supplies needed to serve groups of up to 14 clients, turning what was once an idea into a weekly practice at Santosha Barbados and other premium venues.
What I didn’t expect was the added gift of mentorship. The advice, strategies, and hands-on support, especially with my website and Google Workspace have truly elevated my business. I’m especially grateful to Patrick, who showed belief from the beginning.
One milestone that stands out was being contacted by the Spa Director at Wyndham Grand Barbados, expressing interest in hosting sound baths at their spa. This opportunity came as I was reflecting on how far I’ve come, proof that the journey, though sometimes uncertain, is worth it.
